Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026. This describes how Maskifai processes personal data when you use our website and services.
1. Who we are
Maskifai is a product operated by Influgrowth. For privacy questions, contact privacy@maskifai.com.
2. Data we process
- Account data: name, email address, password hash (or Google account identifier if you sign in with Google), and workspace membership.
- Billing data: plan selection and subscription status. Card payments, when enabled, are processed by our payment provider — we do not store full card numbers.
- Service content: text and files you submit for anonymization. Original entity values may be stored encrypted so you can restore them later, subject to your retention settings (including zero-retention).
- Technical data: IP address, user agent, and security logs used for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and audit.
3. Why we process data
We process data to provide the Maskifai service (contract), secure the platform (legitimate interests / legal obligation), improve reliability, and communicate service-related notices. Where required, we rely on your consent (for example certain cookies or marketing).
4. Processors and AI detection
Anonymization detection may send document text to our AI model provider (currently OpenAI) solely to identify sensitive entities. Encrypted original values used for restore are stored in our database. We do not sell personal data.
5. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Anonymization jobs and encrypted mappings expire according to your workspace retention settings and are purged after expiry. You can enable zero-retention so encrypted originals are not stored for restore.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location (including the EEA/UK), you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, or port your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us to exercise these rights.
7. International transfers
Infrastructure and processors may be located outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) with processors.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change when we do.
